Can I update my website myself?

Modified on Wed, 13 Sep, 2023 at 11:09 AM

In most cases, yes, you can update your website yourself. However, it's important to check the specific conditions or inclusions of your website package or consult with your developer for clarity. The ability to update your website depends on how it was developed, whether it was created using a content management system (CMS) or hand-coded.

If your website was developed using code such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, unfortunately, you won't be able to edit these sites directly. Editing code requires coding knowledge and expertise. However, if you have advanced coding skills and would like to make edits to your site, please reach out to us, and we may be able to arrange editing access for you.

On the other hand, if your website was built using a CMS, such as Wix, WordPress, Weebly, and more, you should be able to edit your site.

These CMS platforms provide user-friendly interfaces that allow you to log in and update page contents, photos, and other elements. With just a computer and an internet connection, you can easily make changes to your website whenever needed.

If you prefer Weboid to handle any edits or modifications on your behalf, please feel free to reach out to your developer or contact our website team at websites@weboid.dev. We're here to assist you and ensure that your website remains up-to-date and reflects your evolving needs.
